The Moray Rural Housing Enabler project aims to improve affordable
housing opportunities in rural Moray by raising awareness of housing
options, identifying rural housing needs, and helping to find
solutions to increase the range of affordable housing available in
the area.
The Rural Housing Enabler works with communities, landowners, Moray
Council, housing associations and others to deliver more affordable
housing options in rural Moray.
The Rural Housing Enabler project
provides free practical
help to rural communities in Moray to help secure the development of
affordable housing.
The project
aims to improve the uptake of housing grants in rural Moray by
providing advice and information on rural housing options such as
Rural Home Ownership Grants, the Rural Homes for Rent scheme, Rural
Empty Property Grant as well as council and housing association
development.
The project
helps ensure that the housing needs of rural communities are
identified and that investment is targeted towards meeting housing
need in rural Moray.
The Moray Rural
Housing Enabler Project is an initiative run by the Rural Housing
Service, and funded by Moray Council. The Rural Housing Service is a
national charity which helps rural communities across Scotland to
develop practical solutions to local housing problems.
